Who am I?

Who am I?
That is the question,
And if you want to know,
I’ll give you a suggestion,
Look much more deeply than just on the outside,
And the answers I will provide

I am a student,
Endless nights of hard-fought work,
But I do it all,
Because the assignments I can’t let lurk.

I am a collector,
Not so much of baseball cards anymore,
But of knowledge that I can gain,
And in my brain I store.

I am a teacher,
I share my own knowledge with my friends,
I give them all I have to offer,
Even the most random odds and ends.

I am an athlete,
Not tops in the school,
But some of my moves on the court and hard line drives,
Couldn’t be done by a fool.

I am a team player,
I try not to think only of me,
I do my best to help others with their troubles,
As hard as that may be.

I am an artist,
Not an amazingly skilled one,
But when needed,
I can draw some things for fun.

I am a musician,
I play the viola and guitar,
I have a musical mind,
I just haven’t taken it very far.

I may be all of those things,
But those aren’t my limitations,
I can do what I want to do,
Yet at the same time, give more considerations.

I am what you say I am,
There is a whole list you could go through,
And if you say I’m something else,
Then that’s who I am to you.
