The Unique Individual

As I get on the bus I see a sad Panda Bear,

He is being rudely kicked and shoved toward the rear,

I cautiously approach him and begin to question,

Why he chooses to be different and endure such detraction.

Dear Mr. Panda Bear,

Why do you have such interesting hair?

The fur of all bears stick to one color,

Except for yours, which is black and white and is like no other.

Dear Noble Panda Bear,

Perhaps you are already aware,

That only the Panda Bears are nearing extinction,

Are you disgusted that between your genders there is no distinction?

Dear Honorable Panda Bear,

I wonder if you think it is fair,

That all bears eat fish and berries except for you,

Whose diet mainly consists of bamboo?

You are abused for you are unique,

All other bears must call you a freak,

But deep down inside you are still a bear,

So insult your authority I will not dare.
